Interactive media and games increasingly pervade and shape our society. In addition to their dominant roles in entertainment, videogames play growing roles in education, arts, science and health.

The Center for “Games and Interactive Media at Stanford (GAIMS)” connects diverse sets of individuals on campus and the local area who are interested in this topic (broadly speaking). Our community includes experts on gaming media and their history, technologies, scholarly research, industry, and artistic value – all the way to enthusiasts who just enjoy a good game. We organize various activities to aid research, education, community building, and recreation.

If you like to participate in any way, or just would like to have your relevant activities cross listed on our website – please contact us.
